Aquatic Adventures

The rules for adventures in aquatic environments in D&D 5E are a bit disjoint, scattered across multiple books and multiple sections within those books.  I've tried to draw them together in a two pager for my own reference and spell out some of my interpretations (house rules).

The PDF can be found on my Google Drive: D&D 5E Aquatic Encounters.

I watched two videos in crystallizing my thinking.

The first is a player created piece on youtube as How Underwater Combat World in D&D 5E!.
In this video ImaginaryJeremy steps through most of the relevant rules relatively efficiently (12 minutes) and gives his thoughts on the rules as well as offering some interpretations / extensions of RAW.

The second was Dragon Talk: Sage Advice on Underwater Combat, 1/11/19. This one featured Jeremy Crawford so it is information startight from the horse's mouth, so to speak.  Unfortunately, it is extremely low information density (almost an hour long) with way too much side chat and not much useful information.
