A Familiar is awesome in D&D 5E, full stop. Learning and using the Find Familiar spell is something that every Wizard should strive for. This spell is a bit of a can'o'worms to fully understand and to use.

Our second session centered around exploration of the Cragmaw Hideout. When we finished, we had seen the whole place. Here's what our cartographer came up with.

Neverwinter and Phandelver Area
Our adventure began in Neverwinter where the party was formed. The group headed out, down the coast road toward the town of Phandelver.
Neverwinter Adventures
Roy launched a campaign beginning at level 1 based in The Forgotten Realms using D&D 5E rules with pretty much all published materials. We are a new group with several new players so a lot of time will likely be spent learning and teaching.
The adventure began in Neverwinter with Jeznar organizing a group to take a shipment from Neverwinter to the village of Phandalin. Mayhem will, of course, ensue along the way.
Session notes are being kept on Google Docs: Session Notes
The group treasury is tracked in a spreadsheet: Treasury

Starting a New Blog
This blog is intended to provide a place to share information about D&D campaigns that we play in and to hold handy links that we want other participants in the campaign to have access too. Some of the posts will be session logs or descriptions others may be about D&D in general or other related topics.
